It’s May! I love this month for a few reasons, but MerMay is my favorite. You can follow along for daily updates on my Instagram and Facebook accounts, but I will also be cataloging my posts here weekly.
I was contacted by a pin and patch subscription box curator of BratBox a couple months ago to have my pin added to April’s box. I was/am completely honored and thrilled that someone wanted to use my design.
If you are low on funds to purchase your enamel pins, I recommend using Kickstarter to fund your project. Start small and budget for some good perks and stretch goals if you can. It can be hard, and let’s face it, there is a chance of failure. But the thing about Kickstarter is that if you’re not funded, there is no loss to you (besides your time). And you can always try again.

I’ve been getting better about adding to my sketchbook. I try to do something everyday. The important thing to remember is not to censor or criticize yourself. Don’t worry about doing a bad drawing. No one has to see it!
